And there it is! The actually GUTS that I used to record “GUTS”! I recorded all the piano guts noise right before this fine gentlman showed up to haul it away to the scrap metal dump. Looks pretty thrashed huh? Well that’s exactly what happened and that’s what I recorded to make my newest recording on EditionsMego label.So it is that GUTS is officially released! In three different formats: CD & double LP and of course fancy pants digital download. NOTE that the CD version is slighty diffrent than the LP version in which I took the fourth track on the LP and sliced it in half and stacked the two halves together. It is DOUBLE gnarly on CD and that track is called GUTS 2x4 (Get it? 2 times the fourth track?). I do have to say that the LP is spectacular and sounds stunning. Yet the CD is loud as freaking hell! And did I mention Arrow’s x-rays on the cover? The LP is in actual size! Although the CD would look like a rats xray……oh well. -Daniel Menche
